Little Moreton Hall, also known as Old Moreton Hall is a moated half-timbered manor house four miles southwest of Congleton in Cheshire, England.
The earliest parts of the house were built for the prosperous Cheshire landowner William Moreton in early 1500, and the remainder was constructed in stages by successive generations of the family through early 1600. wikipedia

My friend Karl Matthias photographed the house from a southern wing looking north. On his return to Oregon he began processing many rolls of film from his years in England. He gave me one of his first prints made on aging paper I had passed his way knowing that I would never print with chemicals again.
