John led me on two great rides out of Ashland. One up old highway 99 to look into California from the Siskiyou Pass. A year latter we rode the rolling hills of Ashland's upper valley. strava

John was well on his way to 1,000,000 vertical feet for the year when we rode together. I found even the descent difficult since I hadn't ridden my new bike that fast in tight turns. John declared it a good ride for a rest day. blog
